New Delhi, Sep 5 (PTI) Taking forward the process of reforms in education, Union Minister Kapil Sibal today announced that a cadre of dedicated educators would be created to provide training and advanced skills to teachers to keep them updated with the latest in the field.
"We are trying to embark upon an exercise under which we will have a whole cadre of educators who will reach out to the teaching community to help them learn, unlearn and relearn things," he said after giving away Teachers' Award to meritorious teachers from CBSE affiliated schools here.
The HRD Minister said that teachers need to update themselves with the emerging knowledge and the new technology in the sphere of education.
The educators would introduce the teachers to latest technology for making the teaching more innovative and lively.
Sibal said it is a challenging task to ensure that the teachers are updated with the new knowledge.
